Reason 1: We’re PETA-Certified Cruelty-Free

What does cruelty-free mean?

Cruelty-free skincare refers to products that are created without testing or harming animals at any stage of the production process.

Who are PETA?

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is a famous animal rights organisation that is against animal testing. If a product is PETA-certified, you can rest assured that it’s cruelty-free.

Is Sanctuary Spa cruelty-free?

Being listed amongst PETA’s certified cruelty-free brands is a source of pride for us. We make cruelty-free products that aren’t tested on animals. We also don’t work with suppliers who test on animals or sell our products in countries that require animal testing.

Is Sanctuary Spa vegan?

We’re proud to say that our entire body care and wellness range is 100% vegan. A couple of skincare favourites do contain beeswax, but we’re working towards creating a 100% vegan skincare range by the end of 2021 too.

In 2018, a study conducted by Zero Waste found that 120 billion units of packaging are produced by the global cosmetics industry every year, with a lot of these being non-recyclable plastics. We want to be part of the change that helps to reduce this number.

Sanctuary Spa embraces refillable packaging

To help reduce plastic waste, we’ve just launched our new refillable body wash and antibacterial hand gels. With 80% less plastic, these pouches are the equivalent of two 250ml Sanctuary Spa body washes or two 250ml Sanctuary hand washes. Simply dispense into your existing Sanctuary bottle and use as normal. It’s great for the planet and even better for your skin!
