When did you start using Sanctuary and what was your first product?
I started using Sanctuary in 2010, when I was gifted the classic Body Butter, I love this product to this very day, it is perfect for my skin which is not overly dry but has a tendency to have some dry patches.
How much ‘me’ time do you get and how do you like to spend it?
I don’t get that much time for “me” the one thing I do regularly is visit London every 6 weeks, on the way back I always like to have a mooch in Selfridges or Brent Cross shopping centre. My days off are Tuesday and Sunday and try and have some pampering time on these days.
If you could give advice to your younger self, what would you say to her?
My advice to my younger self is spend more time on pampering, use a good skin care and body routine and to stick to the routine.
What’s your secret to a work/life balance?
My secret to work life balance is keeping busy, I love multi-tasking and stretching myself every day to do more, although this does sometimes have an impact on my everyday life, I still don’t just like to sit and not do nothing. I then treat myself to nice things like luxury goods and holidays and of course amazing skin and body products.
What is your favourite book and why?
My favourite book is Shantaram, I like this book for where it is based and how I can relate to some of the things in the book, having an Indian nationality and it’s very gripping.
What is your favourite Sanctuary product and how does a pamper with it make you feel?
My all-time favourite Sanctuary product has to be the Salt Scrub, its luxurious, my skin feels polished, soft, silky and amazingly moisturised after use leaving my skin feeling revived. This product is also great for pre-holiday tanning, prepares the skin for an even all over tan.
What is your number 1 beauty secret?
My number 1 beauty secret is to get at least 8/10 hours of sleep per night, drinking plenty of water infused with fresh lemons, this has helped my skin stay hydrated -the other thing I have done since my early 20’s is followed a rigorous skincare routine.
Name one thing you are grateful for today:
The one thing I am grateful for today and the health of my family and friends, my amazing 4 year old daughter who always keeps me smiling.
What is your ultimate Selfish Sanctuary moment?*
I think my selfish moment or time I have is watching trashy TV on a Tuesday whilst my daughter is at school.
