When did you start using Sanctuary and what was your first product?

I would say probably around 10 years ago and it was the body lotion.

How much ‘me’ time do you get and how do you like to spend it?

I don’t really get much me time working for the NHS, but when I do I like to indulge myself in bubble bath with some candles. The luxury bath float from Sanctuary Spa makes me feel relaxed – it takes away the stress of the day.

If you could give advice to your younger self, what would you say to her?

I would encourage her to look after her skin earlier on in life, when you’re young you don’t really feel you have to, but as you get older you start to realise! Also take advantage of all opportunities that come your way.

What’s your secret to a work/life balance?

Well because I work shifts, I try to relax as much as possible before they start and afterwards if I come back feeling tense, I like to relax on the sofa with a glass of wine, watching my favourite tv programmes.

What is your favourite book and why?

I can’t say I have a favourite, there’s too many to name! I really like reading psychological thrillers, but also romantic fiction on occasion, it depends what mood I’m in.

What is your favourite Sanctuary product and how does a pamper with it make you feel?

My favourite product is the Salt Scrub in the big kilner jar, it’s so luxurious and looks great in the bathroom! It makes me feel completed pampered as the soft feeling on your skin lasts for ages! It’s my once a week pamper staple!

What is your number 1 beauty secret?

I recently invested in an IPL machine and it has changed my life! Gone are the days of annoying shaving or painful waxing, I would tell everyone to get one! It’s also more sustainable.

Name one thing you are grateful for today?

I am grateful everyday for my two gorgeous boys, but today specifically I am grateful for this terrible rain to finally stop!

What is your ultimate Selfish Sanctuary moment?*

I know it’s bad, but I’ve definitely cancelled plans in favour of staying in my pjs with a facemask on.
